26. NIEDZIELA ZWYKŁA

„Umarł żebrak”

     Ideałem chrześcijanina nie jest człowiek cierpiący.
     Jeżeli się zdarzy cierpienie – a zdarzyć się zdarzy, bo należy to do kondycji człowieczej – to nie jest ono karą Bożą za jakąś naszą nieuczciwość, ale pomocą potrzebną dla naszego rozwoju duchowego.
     Ale cierpienie nie jest naszym celem. Celem jest nasze zbawienie w zjednoczeniu z Bogiem.

”The poor man died”

     An ideal Christian is not a suffering man. 
     If suffering happens – and it will happen, because it is innate to human nature – it is not God’s punishment for some fraud you have committed, but it is help needed for your spiritual development. 
     Suffering is not our goal, though.  Our goal is redemption in unity with God.
