XXVIII NIEDZIELA ZWYKŁA

„Przyjdźcie na ucztę”

     Jesteśmy nieustannie na huśtawce emocjonalnej: A to, słysząc o miłości Boga ku nam, spoufalamy się, traktujemy Go jak za pan brat, prawie poklepując po plecach. A wystarczy tylko w bezchmurną noc popatrzeć na niebo usiane gwiazdami naszej galaktyki, uświadomić sobie, że takich galaktyk jest miliony, żeby wpaść w drugą skrajność i zostać zdruzgotani Jego potęgą i prawdę o tym, że nas Bóg kocha, uznać za dziecinną bajkę.
Przyjąć tę prawdę, że Bóg, który stwarza Wszechświaty, kocha każdego z nas – na to trzeba ogromnej wiary.

„Come to the feast”

     We are constantly on an emotional roller coaster.  Now, we hear about God’s love for us and we take liberties with Him. We treat Him like a brother, almost ready to slap Him on the back.  But it is enough to look at the starry sky during a cloudless night; the sky filled with the stars of our galaxy and to realize that there are millions of such galaxies, to fall into another extreme and to be crushed by God’s might.  Then we may regard the truth that He loves us as a childish fairy tale.
It requires tremendous faith to accept the truth that God, who created the universe, loves each and every one of us.
