Będziesz miłował

     Jezus opowiada, że nad poranionym Żydem zlitował się Samarytanin – odwieczny wróg Żydów. I nie dość tego, ale mówi do swojego rozmówcy: Idź i ty czyń podobnie. To znaczy: Ty, który jesteś Żydem, masz się litować nad poranionym Samarytaninem.
     A on najchętniej popatrzyłby na poranionego Samarytanina i powiedział: „Dobrze ci tak”, wzruszył ramionami i poszedł dalej.
     Żeby w naszym życiu nie było wzruszenia ramionami i powiedzenia o wrogu, który został pokonany: „Dobrze ci tak”.

MONDAY

     Jesus tells us that a Samaritan – eternal enemy of the Jews – took pity on an injured Jew.  And not only that, He also tells his interlocutor: Go and act in a similar way.  It means:  You, who are a Jew, should take pity on an injured Samaritan.
     And he would rather take a look at an injured Samaritan and say “Serves you right” and walk away shrugging his shoulders.
     Lest there be shrugging of shoulders and commenting on an injured enemy “Serves you right” in our lives.
