PONIEDZIAŁEK

Błogosławieni

     Kiedy będą pocieszeni, którzy płaczą?
     Kiedy cisi na własność posiądą ziemię?
     Kiedy będą nasyceni ci, którzy łakną i pragną sprawiedliwości?
     Kiedy miłosierdzia dostąpią ci, którzy są miłosierni?
     Kiedy oglądać Boga będą ludzie czystego serca?
     Kiedy będą nazwani synami Bożymi ci, którzy wprowadzają pokój?
     Chcemy, żeby jeszcze na tym świecie dokonało się uzdrowienie złych stosunków społecznych. Żeby na tym świecie byli pocieszeni ci, którzy płaczą; żeby cisi otrzymali na własność ziemię; aby miłosierdzia dostąpili ci, którzy są miłosierni; żeby Boga oglądać mogli, którzy są czystego serca; żeby byli nazwani synami Bożymi, którzy wprowadzają pokój. Żeby zapanowało królestwo Boże. Jeszcze za życia, na tej ziemi.

     When are the ones who mourn going to be comforted?
     When are the meek going to inherit the earth?
     When are the ones who hunger and thirst for righteousness going to be satisfied?
     When are the merciful going to be shown mercy?
     When will the pure of heart going to see God?
     When are the peacemakers going to be called sons of God?
     We would like the healing of bad social relationships to happen now, here, in this world.  We would like the ones who mourn to be comforted, the meek to inherit the earth, the merciful to be shown mercy, the pure of heart to see God, the peacemakers to be called sons of God – still here in this world.  We’d like the reign of God to happen here on earth, in our lifetime.
