Zapełniony dom

     A gdy już wypłaczemy się z żałości, że odszedł od nas człowiek umiłowany, ważny w naszym życiu, a gdy już użalimy się przed Bogiem i przed ludźmi, żeśmy zostali tak osieroceni, to przyjdzie czas na refleksję: że jest u Boga człowiek, który nas kocha i który nami się opiekował za życia i teraz o nas też nie zapomni; i będzie się wstawiał za nami u Boga.
     Tak to już jest, że z biegiem lat pustoszeje wokół nas krąg ludzi – przyjaciół, znajomych, krewnych. Odchodzą do Boga. I jest niemożliwe, aby oni nie myśleli o nas, nie troszczyli się o nas – tak jak to było za ich życia.

     And when we’ve cried out our last tears of grief for a beloved person, so important in our lives, who had left us, when we’ve poured out our sorrows in the presence of God and people for we were orphaned, time of reflection shall arrive; and we’ll think that the person who loves us, and who has taken care of us during his or her lifetime is with God now and that he or she will not forget us even now and that he or she will be interceding for us with God. 
     Such is life that with time the circle of people around us shrinks – friends, acquaintances, and relatives leave to be with God.  And it is impossible for them not to think of us, not to care for us – just like they thought and cared for us when they were alive.
