Wy jesteście solą ziemi

     My chętnie tłumaczymy innym, jak powinni postępować. A to nie wystarcza. Trzeba samemu dać przykład. A wtedy pouczanie jest niepotrzebne. Bo każdy, kto nas obserwuje, będzie przekonany naszym mądrym i uczciwym życiem. Nie trzeba go objaśniać. Dobry czyn sam jest najlepszym nauczycielem.

You are the salt of the earth

     We gladly explain to others how they should act.  But this is not enough.  You yourself have to be an example.  And then the lectures are unnecessary.  For everyone who observes you will be convinced by your wise and honest life.  This does not to have to be explained.  Good deed by itself is the best of teachers.
