4. NIEDZIELA PRZYGOTOWANIA PASCHALNEGO

„Ojciec syna marnotrawnego”

     My, katolicy, mamy kompleks syna niemarnotrawnego. On miał pretensje do ojca, że przyjął syna, który zmarnował cały swój majątek, że wyprawił ucztę na cześć jego powrotu. A my, katolicy, chcielibyśmy zawłaszczyć sobie Boga, zagarnąć całą Jego miłość. Nie bardzo chcemy przyjąć fakt, że Bóg kocha również niekatolików. Nie tylko chrześcijan innych wyznań, ale ludzi innych religii, nawet i niewierzących. Uważamy, że my, katolicy, powinniśmy być jedyni w Jego sercu. 
     A tymczasem Bóg jest Miłością. Dostają się do Niego wszyscy ci, którzy kochają, bez względu na to, czy są ochrzczeni w Kościele katolickim, czy nie.

4th Sunday of Lent

”Prodigal son’s father”

     We, the Catholics have a complex of that non-prodigal son.  He had a grievance against his father for taking back the son who had wasted his whole fortune, for preparing the feast to celebrate his return.  And we, the Catholics, would like to own God, to take His entire love.  We are not readily accepting the fact that God loves also non-Catholics.  Not only the Christians of other denominations, but also people of other religions, even the non-believers.  We think that only we should be entitled to have a place in His heart.
     Meanwhile, God is Love.  All people who love can reach Him, no matter if they are baptized in the Catholic Church or not.
