NIEDZIELA WIELKANOCNA

„Kamień odsunięty”

     Stajesz przed grobem ukochanego człowieka z żalem: Zabraliście mi go. Wszystko, co najdroższe, obróciło się w nicość. Przepadły jego oczy, jego uśmiech, jego mądrość, jego serdeczność.
     Nieprawda. On nie przepadł. Jest. Nawet wypiękniał. Oczyścił się z tego, co było prymitywne, nierozsądne, głupie, małe, słabe. I trwa w wieczności. Odzyskasz go. Spotkasz go. Będzie znowu uśmiechał się. Będzie jeszcze bardziej prosty, mądry, serdeczny. Tak jak i ty wypiękniejesz – gdy przejdziesz próg śmierci i zobaczysz siebie w prawdzie. Uwolnisz się od swojej małości. Staniesz się godny życia wiecznego.

Easter Sunday

“Stone removed”

            You stand beside the grave of your beloved one stricken with grief:  “You’ve taken him away from me.  Everything that was dearest to me has turned into nothing.  His eyes are gone, his smile, his wisdom, his warmth.”

            Not true.  His is not gone.  He is.  He’s become even more beautiful.  He has been cleansed of everything that was primitive, unreasonable, stupid, little, and weak.  And he dwells in eternity.  You will get him back.  You will meet him.  He will be smiling again.  He will be even more straightforward, wise and more cordial.  Just as you will become more beautiful – when you pass through the threshold of death and see yourself in truth.  You will free yourself from your littleness.  You will become worthy of the eternal life.
