11. NIEDZIELA ZWYKŁA

„Robotnicy Pana”

     A my, jak tamte tłumy ludzi, czujemy się znękani, porzuceni. Przekonaliśmy się po raz któryś, że nikt za nas nic nie zrobi, że nas nikt nie może zastąpić, że trzeba liczyć na siebie, na swoją mądrość, roztropność, uważność, odwagę. A tylko wtedy może stać się to, co nazywać jesteśmy gotowi cudem – że napotkamy człowieka, który podobnie jak my chce, myśli, tęskni. A nawet wyprzedza nas na tej drodze miłości i mądrości społecznej.

„Lord’s Laborers’

     You too, just like people in that crowd, feel harried and abandoned.  Yet again you’ve found out that nobody is going to do anything for you, nobody can substitute for you, that you have to count on yourself: on your own wisdom, prudence, caution and courage.  And only then it can happen – what we tend to call a miracle – that you meet a person who wants, longs for, and thinks like you do.  And maybe he is even ahead of you on this way to love, and social wisdom.
