PONIEDZIAŁEK

Aby Go strącić

     To jest prawie nie do wiary, że dopiero Sobór Watykański II ogłosił tolerancję wobec innych religii. Nawet braterstwo. A dotąd byliśmy pouczani, że Bóg kocha tylko chrześcijan, a niechrześcijan to chyba nie, a przynajmniej mniej. Jakoś potrafiliśmy sobie pogodzić to z prawdą o Bogu-Miłości.
     A tak się nam zdawało, że już nie ma tajemnic w Ewangelii, że wszystko wiemy, że wszystko przyjęliśmy, co Jezus głosił.

To knock Him off

     It is almost unbelievable that only Second Vatican Council announced tolerance toward other religions.  Tolerance, and even brotherhood.  And until then we had been lectured that God loved only Christians and that He probably did not love non-Christians or at least loved them less.
Somehow we could reconcile it with the truth about God-Love.
     And it would seem to us that there are no more mysteries in the Gospel, that we know everything, that we’ve accepted everything that Jesus proclaimed.
