Aby odszedł

 
     Apostołem być. Głosić Ewangelię Jezusową. I cały w tym trud, cała w tym zagadka, cały w tym problem:
     Co powinni głosić apostołowie? – Prawdę o Bogu-Miłości.
     W jaki sposób mają głosić tę prawdę? Pięknymi kazaniami? – Nie. Życiem swoim.
     Wszystko, co w kościele się dzieje, począwszy od Mszy świętej poprzez wszystkie sakramenty święte, nabożeństwa, drogi krzyżowe, rekolekcje, wszystko co się w kościele dzieje – w uroczystych szatach, w pięknych świątyniach – ma jeden cel: abyśmy kochali.

     To be an apostle.  To proclaim Jesus’ Gospels.  This is where the entire difficulty lies, this is where the entire puzzle is, and this is where the problem resides. 
     What should the apostles proclaim?  – The truth about God-Love.
     How should they proclaim such truth?  With beautiful sermons?  – No, with their lives.
     Everything that happens in church, starting with a Holy Mass, through all of the Holy Sacraments, services, stations of the cross, recollections, everything that happens in church — in ceremonial robes, in beautiful sanctuaries — has only one goal for us: to love.
