PONIEDZIAŁEK

Odmierzą wam

     Jezus naucza: „Bądźcie miłosierni, jak Ojciec wasz jest miłosierny”. A my nie jesteśmy miłosierni.
     „Nie sądźcie, a nie będziecie sądzeni”. A my sądzimy. Zasądzamy.
     „Nie potępiajcie, a nie będziecie potępieni”. A my potępiamy.
     „Odpuszczajcie, a będzie wam odpuszczone”. A my nie odpuszczamy.
     „Dawajcie, a będzie wam dane”. My nie dajemy. Gdy dajemy, to już takie rzeczy, które naprawdę nam zawadzają w mieszkaniu.
     „Odmierzą wam bowiem taką miarą, jaką wy mierzycie”. To do nas nie dochodzi. Tego nie słyszymy, tego nie chcemy słyszeć.

MONDAY

They will measure it out for you

     Jesus teaches: “Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.”  And we are not merciful.
     “Do not judge, so that you will not be judged.”  And we do judge.  We sentence.
     “Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned.”  And we do condemn.
     “Forgive, and you will be forgiven.”  And we don’t forgive.
     “Give and it will be given to you.”  We don’t give.  And when we give, it’s only the stuff that really stands in our way at home.
     “For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”  This does not reach us.  We don’t hear that, we don’t want to hear that.
